Solutions provider Dejevu SA is continuing to make inroads into the US market, with Allied Utility winning a contract with one of the largest energy partnerships in North America.

Dejevu is a content collaboration management software solution provider with a partner channel in the US, Australia and SA.

Dejevu USA`s partner, Allied Utility, has been awarded a contract by EPP, an energy partnership that provides natural gas transportation, processing and storage services and natural gas liquid transportation, storage and terminal services.

The contract will see Dejevu`s South African-developed systems being implemented at EPP.

"They wanted a highly flexible browser-based workflow solution that could be easily customised without needing to make wholesale changes to their current IT investment," says Dejevu SA COO Chester Page.

"The value proposition was definitely in our ability to leverage their current investment in legacy systems."

Page says the utility wanted to add the decentralised processing power of a Web services solution combined with the process optimisation power of a workflow engine to harvest existing without major integration headaches.

"The Dejevu Content Collaboration Management Web services toolset provided the flexibility to customise a solution for EPP in five weeks."

Although he cannot disclose the value of the deal, Page says it is substantial.
