Dell business notebook combines essential features with exceptional value

Starting at R9 155 including VAT and delivery, Latitude D510 brings mobility to small and medium businesses
Johannesburg, 24 Jun 2005

Dell has announced the launch of the Latitude D510 for small and medium businesses in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Priced at just R9 155, the Latitude D510 is perfect for growing businesses that need mobility, flexibility and performance when it comes to choosing a notebook.

"Small and medium businesses increasingly need notebooks that are not only mobile but reliable to enable them to provide a professional service to their customers," said Ben McDonald, Client Product Manager for Dell South Africa. "The new Dell Latitude D510 allows growing businesses to expand their geographic reach, stretch resources and increase productivity. Dell is committed to delivering cost-effective products that allow businesses to have a flexible, mobile workforce."

With a starting weight of 2.36kg [1], the Latitude D510 can be configured with an Intel Pentium M processor or a Celeron M processor. Customers can also configure systems with 14.1-inch or 15-inch XGA displays and a choice of wireless networking solutions.

Dell`s Tri-Metal chassis helps ensure the D510 can withstand mobility. The sealed, stiffened keyboard defends against dust and spills while the Strike Zone shock-absorber helps protect the hard drive.

Dell offers a single point of accountability for deployment services to support its latest portfolio of Latitude products. These can help save time and effort and allow customers to focus resources on other projects. More information about the Latitude D510 and other members of the D-Family can be found at www.dell.co.za
