Dell and EMC are offering a package of hardware and pre-configured to run an Oracle warehouse, states InformationWeek.

The combined product, which was unveiled at Oracle Open World in San Francisco, uses Dell's PowerEdge rack server and EMC's Clariion CX4 networked storage system, which includes virtual provisioning and flash storage.

The Dell-EMC partnership stems from Oracle's Optimised Warehouse Initiative, and reflects the emerging interest among BI customers in warehouse appliances that deliver high-speed data mining at lower hardware and implementation costs.

Noetix signs agreement with TriCore

Noetix, a software provider that automatically generates BI content from enterprise applications, has partnered with TriCore Solutions, a provider of enterprise technology outsourcing and managed services solutions, reports Businesswire.

Under the agreement, TriCore will support and maintain Noetix's flagship product, NoetixViews for its customers.

With this partnership, TriCore will enable its customers to reduce the complexities of accessing Oracle E-Business Suite ERP data and generating hundreds of customisable reports.

Banks to use compliance software

Attus Technologies has partnered with Open Solutions to offer its suite of regulatory compliance products to Open Solutions' credit union and banking clients, says Marketwatch.

Attus will provide Open Solutions with its signature regulatory compliance software product, WatchDOG Pro.

This software allows financial institutions to scan customer lists quickly and effectively against multiple government watch lists and enables institutions to spend more time with customers or members rather than on their regulatory compliance issues.
