Deltek, the leading global provider of enterprise software and information solutions for professional services firms and government contractors, has released the 34th edition of the Deltek Clarity Architecture and Engineering (A&E) Industry Study - a comprehensive report that provides key metrics on the financial performance of today's A&E firms and insight into their outlook on the market. Deltek experts and industry leaders will present the survey results during the 2013 Deltek A&E Growth Tour, to be held from 14 May to 11 June. Companies that can't join Deltek on the tour can attend an 18 June Webinar to hear the results of Deltek's latest study.
The last five years have been a financial rollercoaster ride for most A&E firms, but the good news is that many have started the climb back up, as shown in the results of Deltek's Clarity Industry Study. The study summarises survey responses from senior executives in the A&E industry on their performance in 2012 and expectations for 2013. The Clarity study assesses dozens of key operating metrics, including Net Labour Multiplier, Overhead Rate, Utilisation Rate, and Operating Profit Rate, which show steadily improving financial performance for A&E firms in the United States. By comparing their organisations against high performers, firm leaders can benchmark their success against peer firms, and plan for the future based on the market outlook that is a key part of the report.
The Clarity study will be presented during the 2013 Deltek A&E Growth Tour across the US with events in Boston, New York, Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta and Chicago. These free, half-day events will feature experts from Deltek, as well as industry leaders from organisations such as Greenway Group, Morrissey Goodale, PSMJ Resources, and Rusk O'Brien Gido + Partners. For more information on these events or to register to attend, visit the event registration page on Deltek's Web site.
"While A&E firms are still feeling the effects of the economic recession, many signs are positive for the industry. Our latest Clarity A&E report, along with other industry indicators, such as the AIA's Architecture Billings Index, show that opportunities are increasing and firms are growing," said Claus Thorsgaard, Deltek's Executive VP and General Manager - Professional Services. "As we unveil the results of our new report, we are providing A&E firms with insight into how the best organisations are performing, and this level of insight will enable A&E firms to make smarter, more strategic decisions that contribute to profitable growth."
