IT solutions and infrastructure provider, Datacentrix, has appointed Derrick Kupa as its new government business unit manager.
Prior to joining Datacentrix, Kupa was employed at Cornastone Technology Holdings, CCH and HP, where he spent eleven years working through the ranks.
According to Ahmed Mahomed, Infrastructure MD at Datacentrix, Kupa`s new role will focus on infrastructure within government and growing Datacentrix` market share within the enterprise government market.
"Datacentrix has established itself as a strong contender within the IT infrastructure supply, maintenance and support sector and is a serious player in the enterprise solutions space. We are expecting growth within the government sector, as well as increasing value on existing contracts and believe that Derrick`s appointment will help us fufill this," he says.
Kupa is confident that the combination of skills and years of experience with business-critical solutions coupled with Datacentrix` strong end-to-end offering - will provide a compelling answer to government`s enterprise-level needs.
