After considering other SAP partners and going through an extensive RFP process, DGB signed a three-year SAP Application Management Services (RunSAP) contract with UCS Solutions, covering almost all aspects of the SAP system support for DGB.
DGB was looking for a long-term, professional and flexible service and UCS Solutions met all three of those criteria. UCS Solutions will be responsible for the functional and technical support of the DGB SAP Financial, Manufacturing and Business Intelligence systems.
The improved focus and level of expertise from UCS Solutions has seen several long-outstanding systems issues being resolved, and plans are being made for enhancements to be delivered that will increase productivity and save costs in the business. The service is delivered via the UCS Solutions remote support hubs in Johannesburg and Cape Town, with onsite support delivered when required. In addition, DGB has access to a large pool of SAP resources on the 24x7 basis.
