Long-time Accenture executive Leslie Bergman has been appointed as independent non-executive director to Dimension Data's board.
Bergman's experience with Accenture saw him work in the US, UK, SA and Central and Eastern Europe.
At the time of his retirement in October 2001, Bergman was regional manager partner for Accenture Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa and India.
Bergman is now based in London, says DiData. He is also a director of Foschini, The Super Group and Austria-based shoe company, Leder & Schuh.
