Dimension Data, iSolve and The IT Department were recognised at the 2007 Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards, announced at the Microsoft Partner Summit, in Sun City, last week.
Dimension Data walked away with three awards - the Winning Customer Initiative Award, the Large Account Reseller of the Year Award and the Managing Director's Award - while iSolve won the Custom Development Solutions Competency Award and the Data Management Solutions Competency Award.
The IT Department won the Small Business Specialist Award.

Jason Goodall, MD of Dimension Data Africa and Middle East, said his company was "extremely proud" of its relationship with Microsoft.

Himal Ramjee, MD of iSolve, said Microsoft was one of "very few" global players that actively promotes the partner model.
The IT Department said its award was "welcome recognition" that the company has differentiated itself in a highly-competitive market space through embracing shared marketing opportunities, as well as new licensing models promoted by Microsoft.
