Dimension Data North America has announced the completion of a brand differentiation and e-commerce engagement with The Timberland Company and the completion of a multimillion-dollar redesign of Web sites for DuPont* Corian solid surfaces and DuPont* Zodiaq quartz surfaces.
Timberland
The Timberland site, www.timberland.com, enables e-commerce transactions for many of Timberland`s products. Through the use of Broadvision technology, the site creates a direct relationship with consumers so that Timberland can learn more about them and better serve them with personalised offerings.
The site delivers value to Timberland consumers by providing a retail store directory for Timberland products, background information on the company, and information and links on Timberland`s involvement in social and environmental causes. It also includes information on how consumers can volunteer and become more involved in their communities.
Timberland is establishing its e-business infrastructure through Chelsea Interactive, an e-commerce platform which enables inventory management, transaction processing and user-profile databases.
"Dimension Data built a robust platform for Chelsea Interactive that enables member brands to seamlessly integrate their legacy systems.

DuPont
The Web sites for DuPont* Corian solid surfaces (www.corian.com) and DuPont* Zodiaq quartz surfaces (www.zodiaq.com provide tailored information to six audiences: homeowners, residential architects, residential designers, commercial architects, commercial designers, and commercial purchasers, owners and managers.
For each audience, the sites are designed to inspire design ideas, detail case histories and current installations, while providing practical information including colour palettes, product specifications, and global retailer and distributor locators.
The sites will initially be available in both English and German with additional languages to follow.
