Dimension Data South Africa has signed a major distribution agreement with Expand Networks, a US-based leader in optimising network performance.
Under the terms of the agreement, Dimension Data Network Services will offer Expand Networks` Enterprise Caching suite of products to its clients, providing them with a network optimisation solution that enables performance boosts of up to 400%, and often more.
It is anticipated that the agreement will be extended to London-listed Dimension Data`s operations in Latin America and other parts of the world.

So, if multiple users continuously run Microsoft Word, Expand`s technology will move the repeated content to the edge of the network. The end result is massive performance boost for the Citrix application.
