Simplice Anoh, founder and CEO of DAT, said:
"This is the beginning of a new and exciting chapter for us. In just over 10 years' we have built one of the biggest network across Africa. Our dedicated local presence and intelligence services shorten time to market and deliver greater profitability for our client base. Our business has evolved and it was time for a new brand and website to reflect these changes."
Besides, Sidick Bakayoko as the CMO of DAT truly believes in a connected Africa, an Africa that is quickly adapting to the changes of the new world. He also mentioned:
"We redefined our business strategy to focus on the growing demand for digital marketing services in Africa as we believe we can set the tone in future mobile developments that occur on the continent. Understanding our market gives us a competitive advantage and a pan-African authority role and allows others to come in and join us. Therefore we wanted our new identity to be more powerful and aligned with our African origin."
With the help of Brand Communications, a communications agency that exists to build iconic African brands, Bakayoko has conducted the rebranding of DAT, he added.
"When designing our logo, we focused on our acronym DAT which is short but strong, powerful and multilingual. Using the "A" to symbolize Africa at the centre of everything we do and the D and T to be the balancing support. The colours go from a blue to an African yellow-orange to show positive transformation and growth."
