7th November 2006- Dimension Data Czech Republic s.r.o., part of the Dimension Data Group, a global IT solutions and services provider, today announced that it has acquired Unreal Technology a.s. of the Czech Republic, a networking infrastructure company, for an undisclosed sum.
Unreal Technology's revenue was US$4.5 million* in 2005. Unreal Technology will now operate as Dimension Data Czech Republic.
This acquisition reflects the increasing importance of this region to Dimension Data's European strategy.

"Unreal Technology has built up a strong reputation as a systems integrator focused on planning, building and supporting IT networks, with expertise specifically in the areas of IP convergence, security and data centre and storage. The purchase provides significant benefit to Dimension Data in terms of a complementary team of 24 skilled and experienced employees to join the existing Dimension Data employee base, a strong client base and excellent vendor relationships. All of Unreal Technology's employees will be transferred into Dimension Data's business in Czech Republic. The management structure of Dimension Data Czech Republic will consist of Derek Cummins as Country Manager and the current Unreal Technology management joining him on the Czech management team.

The client base of Unreal Technology includes multinationals such as Mondi Packaging Paper, and Makro Cash & Carry (part of the Metro Group), CSOB Leasing (part of the KBC group); national companies including Zentiva and OEZ Letohrad and the public sector including Czech Republic Ministry of Finance and Czech Railways.
