With its anti-reflective matte surface and glossy black border that will complement any photo, the digital photo frame looks like a regular picture frame, but weighs just slightly more than a regular picture frame of the same size.

This model can store up to 250 1.5-megapixel images on its 128MB of internal memory, or for those of us who feel the need to display all the photos we own, you can access more photos from a thumb drive or the built-in card reader that accepts most types of memory card, including SD, MS and xD as big as 32Gb. And you can copy from the memory card to the internal memory, and vice versa, as well as being able to edit your photos.

The DPF-A72 is also capable of automatically correcting photos into the horizontal or vertical position, and offers a choice of slideshow, clock and calendar display modes.

While the Sony DPF-A72 device offers a backlight life of 20 000 hours before the brightness drops to 50%, to save power these backlight levels are adjustable and the frame can be switched off when you're not in the room.

And for those users who don't want to cross the room to change the picture, the device even comes with a handy remote control that runs on a single lithium ion battery, so you can control the slideshow and viewing mode without using the control buttons on the back of the frame.
