DNA Supply Chain Investments has increased its headline earnings by a third for the interim period and says the company is set to continue its growth.

Management at DNA says its to refocus the business in order to grow profits is paying off and it has seen growth in services provided to both local and international clients.

This paid off and the company grew its turnover by 51% to R1.07 billion, compared to the R709 million achieved for the comparable six months.

DNA reported R1.52 billion turnover for the full year to June last year.

Operating income before depreciation and amortisation, grew from R43 8 million to R62 million.

Similarly, headline earnings grew by 33% R27 million to R36 million, although headline earning per share remained static at 5.5c.

This was due to share dilution when the company issued an additional 177 million shares to facilitate acquisitions including Streamworks and Jumpoint.

DNA management says it has also re-looked its spread of clients and has reduced its exposure to clients in the sector, which is currently under performing.

The company says it is also more focussed on annuity based income and is now carefully selecting clients based on long term relationship possibilities.

The DNA share remained untraded this morning at 40c.
