The DNS Group has formed a specialist Consulting Division, headed by Mike Lewis and John Knight, to assist companies with the design, implementation, management and maintenance of modern information technology (IT) infrastructures.
"Information is a vital company asset and a core economic enabler of the next century," says Lewis. "Companies are becoming more effective in their operations through the adoption of new-generation technologies.
"However, many organisations do not have access to the skills or resources deeded to optimise their IT investments through the design of modern high speed local and wide area networks.
Lewis says the DNS Consulting Division - based in Cape Town - is made up of a team of skilled IT professionals with abilities to design enterprise-wide business solutions geared to ensure competitive marketplace advantage for their users.
"Optimising IT has become a key area of focus for many organisations," adds Lewis. "At DNS Consulting we are able to assist decision makers to take timeous, appropriate and cost effective decisions regarding solutions based on platforms such as Oracle information management software, Microsoft NT and Novell network operating systems and others."
