JSE AltX-listed Dynamic Technology Holdings (DTH) has appointed widely experienced businessman Rod Fehrsen to its board. He joins the group after six years as a partner in Ethos, South Africa's leading private equity company, where he had specific focus on technology.
A CA with two decades' executive management experience and current directorships at Plumblink and SA Taxi Securitisation, Fehrsen joins DTH as an independent non-executive director. He will also chair the audit committee and serve as a member of the remuneration committee.
“We are very pleased to have the experience and services of Rod as a member of the DTH board,” says DTH chairman Hamilton Ratshefola. “As DTH continues to grow its operations, we need to continue to broaden and strengthen our leadership team and governance structures. We welcome Rod and believe he will complement our current team very well with his background and experience.”
“DTH is one of the rising stars of the AltX and the IT sector in general,” says Fehrsen. “It has grown dramatically over the last five years and has become one of the IT groups to watch. It is a privilege to be able to contribute to the governance and growth of such a group.”
DTH is made up of four companies: DVT, which specialises in application development; Offline Digital, which is centred on content delivery; Emerald Consulting, a leading supplier of software solutions to the legal market; and The Talent Exchange, a provider of consulting and contract resourcing services.
