Duxbury Networking, the distributor of the Clearswift products in South Africa, has announced a training and education programme, targeted at its dealers, resellers and channel partners, focusing on the Mimesweeper range of e-mail and Web content filtering solutions.
Initially, two courses are offered for both targeted at support personnel:
7-11 February 2005 - Mimesweeper for SMTP 5
14-19 February 2005 - Mimesweeper for Web 5.05
According to Louise Taute, Duxbury`s marketing manager, all courses are instructor-led and include hands-on opportunities to develop, install and deploy strategies to combat threats such as email-borne and Web-based viruses and to perform content inspection and policy enforcement in a multiple-host environment.
"In addition, trainees will be given advanced training in system configuration, management and the troubleshooting functions of Mimesweeper for SMTP and the Web.
"This is part of Duxbury`s initiative to work with its principals to train and support its reseller partners in South Africa," she adds.
