DV.go! for those on the go

Complete video editing with this firewire solution
Johannesburg, 25 Jul 2001

Edutain/Alien today announced the replacement of the Snazzi DV Editor for Notebooks with the DV.go! from FAST-Dazzle. DV.go! is excellent for entry-level users who want quick results with little effort, and is now also available in a notebook edition, which provides the easiest and most convenient way to capture, edit and share DV videos anytime, anyplace.

In addition to it being available for use with notebooks, both versions of DV.go! have since April this year been equipped with Ulead`s new Video Studio 5.0 full version. This means that DV.go! supports Windows 98SE, Windows 2000 and Windows Millennium.

Says Voula Philippides, MD of Edutain/Alien: "complete video editing and simple usage are remarkable features of DV.go!. Videos can be directly transferred in native DV format from the DV camcorder to the notebook via the PCMCIA adapter card, and transferred to DV tape or as MEPG 1 or 2 file to CD-R with this firewire solution."

The software codec guarantees short rendering times; and with Video Studio 5.0, the DV.go! Notebook Edition contains batch capturing, and automatic scene detection. The multi-file capturing capability of Video Studio 5 means the 4GB file limit is a thing of the past.

Edutain Distribution/Alien Technologies, South African distributors of the FAST-Dazzle range of video editing and capturing products, offer a wide range of extremely affordable, innovative, sought-after products of the highest international calibre and quality in terms of graphics and multimedia presentation to the reseller channel.
