DVT has been appointed a Metastorm Alliance Partner as part of a greater strategic growth plan for the business.
DVT, which traditionally operated in the Cape market and delivered software development and professional services, has expanded its Gauteng operation to include a product division.
"Over the last year we have diversified our strategy to incorporate products and we investigated market segments where we believe growth will complement our business strategy," says Derek Hughes, CEO of DVT Gauteng. "Business process management is a key area we identified that is non-industry specific. Hughes has placed Trevor van Rensburg, previously of Software Futures, at the helm of DVT`s new division.
"I have worked with Trevor before and he is one of the most accomplished business development people I have met in the software business. He also has a solid working knowledge of Metastorm," says Hughes.
