Dynamic CSP announces exciting competition for website hosts and developers

Johannesburg, , 04 Jul 2000

SETcom, a dynamic new Commerce Service Provider (CSP) founded in September 1999, recently announced an exciting competition whereby channel partners stand the chance to win an overseas trip. The competition runs for five months, and closes on 30 November 2000.

In its few short months of existence, SETcom has experienced remarkable growth. Specialising in electronic transaction processing, the company has set itself effectively apart in the booming CSP market by offering both the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol as well as the increasingly popular Secure Electronic Transaction (SET).

SETcom recently made a call on all existing and prospective channel partners who need to e-commerce enable clients' web sites, offering the competition as an excellent incentive to use SETcom to do this. The aim of the exercise is simple: whoever brings in the most clients for SETcom secures the most points and becomes top dealer, securing a one week holiday that consists of three nights in Singapore followed by four nights on the island paradise of Bali.

According to SETcom, channel partners receive points for each merchant that becomes a SETcom client. The points are allocated in adherence with competition rules as well as according to a designated point structure. Since SETcom does not host or develop web sites, there is no conflict of interests with the channel partners.

The winner of the Channel Partner competition will be announced on 30 November 2000, and may take the trip any time during January or February 2001.
