Software and technology group Dynamic Technologies has bought a majority share in Salesforce solutions expert CloudSmiths, bringing the company fully into this powerful technology fold. The deal will enable CloudSmiths – already a formidable player in the Salesforce landscape – to expand their market share, grow their product suite and access new market segments, while maximising cross-skill collaboration with sister companies in the Dynamic Technologies group.
CloudSmiths CEO Jason Timm says: “Previously, CloudSmiths serviced mostly mid-market business with some enterprise clients, but we are now strategically positioned to fully compete at enterprise level. The exponential growth we are seeing is in response to the increasing local demand for Salesforce skills. This is not going to change the way we operate, our culture, values, commitment to excellence and passion for delivering Salesforce technology.”
Founded in 2014, CloudSmiths is the largest independent Salesforce partner and reseller in Africa. As a multi award-winning Salesforce partner, the company specialises in Salesforce implementations, custom development, integrations, managed services and training across multiple sectors.
Dynamic Technologies CEO Chris Wilkins says: “CloudSmiths excels at Salesforce implementation and has been growing their market share steadily. It’s invigorating to see enterprise-level clients reaping the benefit from CloudSmiths’ established expertise and engaged service standards.”
CloudSmiths has already leveraged group capabilities by partnering with fellow group company DVT to service critical skills shortages in the market. Katharine Janisch, Executive Head: Sales and Marketing, CloudSmiths says, “The fact that we have the capability and proficiency to upskill enterprise level dev teams to most likely double the number of skilled Salesforce developers in the country in a very short space of time, places our customers on the winning side of a highly competitive market.”
Jason Timm agrees, saying, “CloudSmiths is fundamentally committed to growing the Salesforce talent pool in South Africa through the unique ecosystem within the Dynamic Technologies group, which is strategically crafted to service the tech market in this country and globally. We are excited to be working with our sister companies within the group to provide even more comprehensive solutions to clients, while contributing to vital skills development to fill this niche in the market.”
