E-filing firm hires new VP

One Legal, a court filing and process serving company, has announced that Jerry O'Connell has been hired to fill the role of VP of finance, according to PR Web.

In this position, he will oversee the company's financial operations, administration and human resources.

In December 2007, One Legal formed a strategic partnership with CT, which deals with corporate compliance and governance, matter management, e-billing, litigation support, electronic discovery, and trademark research solutions.

Silverback Media, a mobile marketing advertising agency, has entered in a new three-year partnership with Toronto-based Puretracks, a North American digital music provider, says Marketwire.

The two companies are partnering to tap into the mobile phone market in the US. The partnership enables Puretracks to deliver a broad selection of its ring tones, wallpaper images and games to brands and retailers interested in launching mobile content promotions.

The Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce will host a special technology workshop on 23 January, says Ohio.com.

Technology 101: Efficiency in Business via Technology will run from 7:30am to 10am at the Medina campus of Walsh University.

Sessions will discuss computer support options, telecommuting pros and cons, effective e-marketing and how to boost productivity using existing computer programs.
