EA conference in Glasgow
The Open Group will host its 18th Architecture Practitioners Conference, between 21 and 23 April in Glasgow, Scotland, says Earth Times.
This event series was created by and for enterprise architecture (EA) practitioners to examine a wide variety of topics that impact the profession.
The Glasgow event will discuss the core elements of an EA that provide the foundation for a dynamic and successful business environment: service-oriented architecture (SOA); frameworks, and skills; and experience-based certification.
Metastorm makes KM list
Metastorm has been included, for the fifth straight year, in KMWorld Magazine's '100 Companies that Matter in Knowledge Management', according to PR Newswire.
This annual list is compiled through discussions with colleagues, knowledge management practitioners, theorists, analysts, vendors and their customers, and will be featured in KMWorld's March 2008 print issue.
According to KMWorld, companies that made the list have helped create, enhance or define a market, and they all share a remarkable capacity for agile, customer-driven innovation.
ZapThink hosts SOA event
ZapThink will host its Practical SOA event in London, according to PR Leap.
The Practical SOA event series is targeted at companies and individuals looking for practical business case studies and value propositions for SOA.
