Bytes Document Solutions (BDS), Africa's leading document management technology and services company and the largest Xerox distributor in the world, has awarded the Xerox dealer of the year to Aloe Office and Business Equipment.

Aloe Office and Business Equipment is a business partner of BDS and a supplier of Xerox equipment in the Border Kei area, which includes East London, Grahamstown and Mthatha.

"We owe this award to the exceptionally high standard of Xerox equipment, excellent pricing on equipment from Bytes Document Solutions, and our own outstanding infrastructure and highly committed and dedicated employees," says Ian Schulein, MD of Aloe Office and Business Equipment. "In addition, we have to pay tribute to our customers - the Xerox end-users - who have played a critical role in the success of our business."

Aloe Office and Business Equipment has been a Xerox dealer since the early 1980s. In 2012, the company boasted a turnover of R80 million, a staff complement of 115 and a Level 4 BBBEE rating.

Aloe Office and Business Equipment has a team of three directors and eight specialist managers overseeing key areas of the business. The company services clients at several municipalities, educational institutions, universities, copy shops and corporate organisations.

"We are proud of Aloe's achievement and its contribution to the Xerox brand," says Johan Basson CEO of Bytes Document Solutions. "We also value our longstanding relationship and compliment Aloe staff for their high level of service to its Xerox customers."
