Edocs, Inc (
www.edocs.com
), the leading provider of online account management and e-billing software, has officially switched onto Africa. It recently established a preferred agreement in SA with local online account management specialist Consology (

), which powered the US-based company`s first South African deployment.
Edocs` solutions are used by some of the world`s largest companies across a variety of industries spanning financial services, healthcare, insurance, retail and telecommunications. Some of its customers include AT&T Wireless, American Express, Fannie Mae, FleetBoston Financial, Franklin Templeton, BT, GE Capital, Saks, Sprint and Telstra. Nashua Mobile is the first customer in SA.
"The relationship with edocs is a two-way flow, that`s why it is working so well," says Consology CEO John Ziniades. "We rely on edocs for a world-leading suite of Web-based billing, customer self-service and targeted marketing applications. In turn, edocs looks to Consology for sales, implementation and customer support in this region," says Ziniades. He adds that edocs was impressed with the speed and delivery of Consology`s first deployment and the level of local expertise. So much so that currently members of the Consology team are being deployed to assist edocs on internal projects in Boston, where edocs is headquartered in the US.
Consology builds better business and better customer relationships by offering a digital equivalent of bills, statements, invoices and other recurring paper-based communication. Consology brings efficiency to traditional paper-based processes by offering customers a view into organisations, and by helping organisations communicate more efficiently with customers using edocs proprietary software solutions. Edocs` applications enable companies to empower and enable clients with online self-service functionality for bills, invoices, payment and any other account information.
"Consology has an intimate understanding of the local market and has already proven its ability to forge key partnerships," said Kevin Laracey, CEO of edocs. "We share a common vision to deliver a dynamic, interactive experience that empowers and enables customers while delivering significant ROI for our clients."
