EDS and York International, a global leader in the heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration industry, have announced a 10-year, $426 million information technology (IT) outsourcing agreement.
EDS will design, implement and operate a flexible, end-to-end solution to support York`s business transformation, including York`s global network, desktop and hosting environment. EDS will support York`s efforts to focus and invest in the future growth of service in its operations, new product development, enhanced distribution and the development of new markets.

"EDS brings best-in-class technology, resources and innovation to manage complexity and rationalise costs within our IT program."
EDS will manage the day-to-day processing and ensure stability of the existing infrastructure for York. Additionally, EDS will immediately implement three transformation projects for global networking, global messaging and PC/desktop management. These three projects will establish the infrastructure to enable York`s global business integration.
