eHelp product sales channel to continue as before

During December 2003 Macromedia concluded their take-over deal of eHelp Corporation, San Diego.

The deal sees the operations and products of eHelp being incorporated completely into Macromedia. eHelp has been producing top quality software applications like the RoboHelp product range for over the last decade. Their products have widely been recognised as the market leaders in their respective categories.

SoftSelect has been the sole partner for the eHelp products in Southern Africa for the last four years. SoftSelect has been managing the complete sales channel including technical and product support, and product training for all users of the eHelp products.

The Macromedia deal will not see this channel and services changing. The southern African sales, product distribution and support channel will continue to be provided by SoftSelect for all existing and new users of the eHelp products.

"The eHelp products will be going through a process of re-branding and repositioning, but you can still be assured of their quality and capabilities," says Werner van der Walt, CEO of SoftSelect.

Users can expect many of the great features found in the Macromedia products to also become available in the eHelp products down the line.

Closer integration between the eHelp and Macromedia products can also be expected, enabling different teams on a project to work together very easily.
