Electro-Matic, EPLAN affiliation announced

Electro-Matic Products announced its new relationship with EPLAN Software & Services, a provider of complete engineering design automation solutions.

The relationship allows Electro-Matic to extend its product portfolio to include EPLAN Electric P8, an electrical design automation software product.

EPLAN Electric P8 is a database driven software developed by the fundamental principle of continuous time and cost saving through elimination of data re-entry and ultimate flexibility in design methods. EPLAN Electric P8 claims to make project management and workflow simpler, faster, more accurate and well documented.

The public beta release of the Omni Group`s project management application, OmniPlan is available.

OmniPlan is designed to help users create logical, manageable project planning documents, the group announced.

OmniPlan allows for the breakdown of tasks, optimising resources needed the project (people, materials, or equipment), controlling various costs, and monitoring the entire project at a glance.

Exostar, the a provider of technology powering secure collaborative supply networks, has launched ForumPass 3.0, an upgrade to the company`s project and design collaboration solution.

ForumPass is used by more than 350 companies - including Boeing, BAE Systems, Northrop Grumman and Rolls-Royce - to securely collaborate among their industry partners.

The new version delivers the industry`s most secure platform to manage design- and program- related business processes in a neutral, hosted environment, the company announced.
