EMC has touted the release of the NS20 storage infrastructure as providing a lower barrier of entry for its reseller base, reports CRN.
The offering has the benefit of all existing storage systems in one package, including price performance as well as simplicity of installation and operation.
EMC claimed the NS20 was designed to meet the requirements of the reseller channel, and enables EMC`s business partners to take advantage of the growth in the storage market, in particular the iSCSI market.
Samsung announces reseller programme
To help its reseller partners realise increase profits, Samsung has created PrintCentive, a programme for printer resellers that provides the necessary tools and incentives to help them grow their Samsung Professional Series Printer business, says eChannelline.
"We are now positioning ourselves with strategic partners in the channel that we can make successful because Samsung does not sell direct, so in order for us to be successful, our partners need to be successful," said Jay Shears, director of office automation with Samsung Electronics America.

LifeSize, Tech Data partner
LifeSize, a provider of high definition video communications, says Tech Data will distribute its complete HD product portfolio, consisting of high definition video communication systems, to solution providers nationwide, reports Trading Markets.
The agreement marks a milestone in LifeSize`s expanded distribution strategy. Tech Data reaches networking, telephony and communications solutions resellers, which support SMEs throughout the US.
"There is tremendous opportunity and demand for affordable, high quality HD videoconferencing solutions among SMEs," said LifeSize CEO Craig Malloy.
