The client wanted to ensure that only authorised personnel accessed or attempted to access these folders, with a comprehensive audit trail.
"By deploying the FileAudit software, we were able to ensure that we can track every computer and user which accesses each folder or file on the servers, thus ensuring that security is improved for password, HR and other critical folders at a very low cost," says Emergia MD, Harold Bopalamo.
Emergia's engineers were able to install and set up FileAudit within minutes, and enable the client to produce reports on folders and files of interest. This obviates the need to decipher a long list of logs to achieve the same thing. Reports include a view on whether the access was for read, write, delete, execute, etc, purposes.

"We can address e-mail retention and archiving, identity management, including PKI and single sign on; we can even offer integration of single sign on, physical access and provisioning, all at a lower cost than most other solutions."
