Emptoris looks to China

Contract management solutions provider Emptoris has expanded its operations into China, reports Earth Times

The company revealed that William Li, who has had senior positions within Ariba, PeopleSoft and Oracle, joined the company as GM and group vice-president of China.

Patrick Quirk, Emptoris president and CEO, says: "As a truly global solution provider, a company needs operations and support in the world's third-largest market.”

SAP unveils e-sourcing solution

SAP has rolled out the latest release of its e-sourcing on-demand solution, states PR Newswire.

The solution provides strategic sourcing, contract life cycle management and supplier management.

David Marchand, head of SAP e-sourcing solution management, says: "The integration of and processes helps ensure consistency with system and business configurations between SAP Business Suite and on-demand solutions from SAP.”

Summit attracts Global 2000 companies

Fusion 10, Selectica's annual contract management summit, is set to take place from 24 to 25 February in California, says Trading Markets.

The annual event attracts contract management professionals at Global 2000 companies in , technology, energy, government contracting, financial services, , and other industries.
