Uniross South Africa is expanding once again. According to the company, the relocation is essential for the Uniross group, as Uniross South Africa is positioned as one of the global production facilities for the Uniross group internationally.

It is therefore important that we invest in the South African operation in order to bring technology and resources to the African continent and are proud to be the first battery assembly company to provide these world-class facilities to customers in South Africa."
The new facility provides for high-speed digital video links with the company's R&D centre in Paris, the fuel cell test centre, the electrochemistry department, and is also directly linked to its production and procurement centre in Zongshan, China. The new production facility comprises of automated conveyer lines for mass battery pack assembly, job lines for small production runs, a test laboratory with full application simulation, a technical R&D centre, a quality control centre, as well as a showroom, offices and warehousing facilities.
