Office environment presentations are a cinch with LG`s LP-XG12 digital projector, which more than meets the vigorous needs of this setting. The projector adds impact to any video presentation as it blasts nearly 2.36 million pixels onto the screen at 2,000 ANSI lumens.
With a screen range of 76 - 726 cm (30 - 300 inches), the projector possesses the functional capability for multimedia presentations. A 13" x 3 unit TFT-LCD (Thin Film Transistor - Liquid Crystal Display) on the LP-XG12 can process the majority of popular PC formats, such as VGA, SVGA, XGA, SXGA, UXGA, MAC and PC98, as well as the common PAL, SECAM or NTSC television signals. The TFT-LCD modules also exhibit far better picture quality, colour and brightness than a single-module product.
Says Deon Botha, account manager: IT products at LG Electronics SA: "A feature synonymous with LG products, the silent fan emits a mere 36 decibels (dB) of operating noise, insuring the speaker`s voice is the only sound heard.
"The projector is equipped with a keystone function that corrects the trapezoid image, which appears much wider at the top than the bottom. And the remote control mouse device is equipped with a laser pointer to make the unit easy to operate during any presentation."
Ease-of-use is ensured with auto tracking and positioning and the ability to install the projector anywhere in the room, thanks to the flip horizontal and flip vertical features.
The LP-XG12 weighs 8.6 kgs (19 lbs) and measures 5.8" x 12" x 17". On-Screen-Display languages include English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Korean and Chinese.
"In addition to a PC, the projector can be connected to a TV, VCR, DVD player, or camcorder," says Botha.
