Enterasys gets corporate makeover

Secure provider Enterasys has given its corporate image a facelift in the hopes of better positioning itself as a company that understands consumer needs, says Enterasys Africa regional director Martin May.

"This includes the retagging of the company with a new logo, corporate colours, and go-to-market model."

The new corporate , "Networks that Know", is aimed at dispelling the archaic notion that is about routers and switches, says May. "Your network is the fabric upon which you build your business and develop the enterprise applications which drive your business.

"A network is in itself a 'living` system, which by all rights should be able to grow, develop and change to meet your business needs."

The company has also been given a new logo, which May hopes will counteract any problems customers would have with pronunciation. "Before people weren`t sure how to pronounce Enterasys. By changing the colour of the last three letters, it should make for less confusion."

The new offices in Rivonia were designed to allow for better presentations to potential clients, says May. "We will now present to clients in a video format, because it`s a lot more effective than someone just standing in the front talking to people."

The offices also make use of biometrics, with access to the various facilities requiring fingerprint identification. "I want these new offices to become a technology hub for the community."
