Enterasys Networks launches enhanced channel partner programme to SA partner circle

To underline its commitment to its channel strategy, Enterasys Networks has launched its updated channel partner programme. The updated programme moves from Enterasys Elite, Certified and Associate partner levels to a new designation of Registered, Silver, Gold and Platinum partners which will better support and reward those investing in a long-term relationship with Enterasys.

The key enhancements give a clearer designation of new partner levels, provide greater rewards for partners and build on its solutions capability and increase customer satisfaction while remaining cost-effective for the channel. The new model ensures that end-users are safe in the knowledge that accredited partners are able to provide the high levels of service and support expected from Enterasys.

The partner programme levels allow special pricing allowances and rebates against achieving agreed targets. Enterasys is also providing a technical training curriculum - both instructor-led and online - to increase partner ability to serve its customers and will work with each partner to develop the transition plan and assist with meeting the new programme requirements.

Martin May, African regional director, says: "Our ongoing commitment to our channel partners is reflected in the new programme, and we are excited by the new possibilities it will afford our partners. We are most particularly pleased with the increased emphasis it places on training and local partners can expect a round of high-level training from our top international technical advisors.

Further cementing the commitment to the local channel, Enterasys has also announced that Gerry Carroll, formerly worldwide field marketing for Enterasys, has recently taken up a new appointment as the channel and marketing director, Northern Europe and Southern Africa. He will focus his energies on developing the channel and driving marketing activity with a responsibility for driving the partner programme and new initiatives throughout the region.
