EOH appoints Khumalo as deputy CEO

Johannesburg, 01 Jul 2008

Lucky Khumalo has been appointed deputy CEO of EOH, one of South Africa's largest consulting, technology and outsourcing companies listed on the software and computer services sector of the JSE.

The appointment was announced on 17 June and made official at a board meeting, the next day. Khumalo (39) will now undertake new responsibilities across the EOH group, in addition to his current role as CEO of M-IT, a managed services subsidiary of EOH.

EOH's compounded annual growth rate over the past nine years of its existence has been 44%, and CEO Asher Bohbot last week said the time had come to appoint a deputy.

"The appointment is in line with the transformation of EOH and our plans to further capitalise on our interests in the private and public sectors. Lucky's industry knowledge, experience and leadership qualities will add great value to the future of the company."

Khumalo says the promotion places him at the heart of EOH, which bides well for close collaboration and communication. "I am looking forward to adding value to the rest of the group and to assisting Asher to drive the growth and integration of all the business units."

In August, EOH marks its 10th successful year in the industry. "We are indeed very proud of this milestone and look forward to celebrating it with our stakeholders, and to even further success in the next 10 years," says Bohbot.
