EOH Gallium launches testing service in Cape Town

EOH company Gallium has launched its independent specialist testing service, known as Global Testing Service (GTS), in Cape Town. GTS is to test software and applications for blue chip companies in South Africa and Europe.

“There has never been a more pertinent time to test applications, as the risks and implications of critical ICT failure are life-threatening for businesses,” says Gallium MD Haydn Pinnell.

“The Western Cape is a key market for Gallium, and it has responded very favourably to GTS. We look forward to taking our testing service to our clients and prospective clients,” he continues.

Gallium GTS aims to increase marketing time and reduce testing time, improve the overall quality of testing and reduce the cost of testing. It also aims to assess risks and mitigate them so companies can effectively test software and applications.

GTS will provide its outsourcing, co-sourcing and project-based activities from two Centres of Excellence, one based in Cape Town and the other in Johannesburg.

GTS's services include maturity assessment, test management, manual functional testing, automated functionality testing, performance testing, and vulnerability and compatibility testing.
