EOH, one of South Africa`s leading technology, consulting and outsourcing companies listed on the JSE, will be a platinum sponsor at this year`s Gartner Symposium/ITxpo.
Taking place at Cape Town Convention Centre from 31 July - 2 August, EOH will showcase seven of its 28 business units and says it will use the symposium as a platform to create continued awareness of its goal to become the number one business and technology solutions provider in Africa.
EOH group marketing manager Rentia Tutton says: "The Gartner Symposium/ITxpo is a perfect platform for EOH to present its innovative product and service offerings. We are also a good example of an IT organisation that balances innovation and change with stability and steady growth, and will thus assist Gartner in communicating its central message of IT maturing - balancing stability and change."
In addition to the symposium, Gartner will also feature an ITxpo. This exhibition will showcase some of the latest breakthrough technology products and services. It is here that EOH will host seven stands representing members of the group: EOH Consulting, EOH Technology, EOH Outsourcing, Softworx, Enterweb, Intellient and Mercury Africa.
Each of these business units map directly to Gartner`s agenda, which is to ultimately enable IT decision-makers to contribute and deliver to the business strategy. Using the Gartner maturity model as the central theme, the Gartner experts will bring together research identified as most critical to achieving the difficult balance between stability, operational efficiency and security, and business and IT innovation and agility.
The Gartner Symposium/ITxpo Africa 2006 will present tactical and strategic advice to help IT organisations determine how well they are doing in relation to their peers and what changes can be made to increase efficiency, improve agility and how they can prepare for their professional future.
