EON Consulting has launched a new service line, namely “Software Evaluation and Selection (SE&S)”. This capability is made possible by its partnership with a well-known Canadian technology firm - Technology Evaluation Centers (TEC).
The TEC and EON partnership offering combines proven methodologies with human and knowledge capital. It is supported by patented technologies, to empower clients to select the best-fit solution for their custom and prioritised software needs.
Wim Terblanche, EON Consulting's Founding Partner, stated: “We are very excited about this new partnership with TEC. Their impressive technology and software evaluation and selection methodology will really help to streamline the projects we have and add a great deal of value for the clients we serve.”
Software selection is often a very challenging aspect in any business. The need for a software package is identified, capabilities are looked at, and various discussions are held as to what the best option would be. Request for proposals (RFPs) are prepared and vendors tender for the opportunity to implement their software package. However, the client is not always sure how various software packages and various vendors compare with each other.
The software evaluation selection offering that EON, in partnership with TEC, offers, will aid clients in:
* Bridging the gap between the vendor/value-added reseller (VAR) community and the enterprise software purchaser;
* Leveraging the information gathered and lessons learned from more than 300 hands-on selection projects to add value to the client's initiatives;
* Facilitating the client's ability to quantifiably measure any solution against customs and prioritised needs, to identify the best-fit alternative; and
* Incorporating the key decision factors they are aware of, and many that they are not aware of when doing the analysis.
On 6 or 7 June 2012, Lorne Goloff, Vice-President of Selection Services at Technology Evaluation Centres, will be here in Johannesburg for two days, sharing what he's learned helping clients through thousands of software selections. Click here to register.
