Following the success of its Team Epson Authorised Reseller Programme (TERP), last year, Epson SA has appointed First Technology as a Prestige Partner. This is the highest level achievable on the Team Epson Reseller programme, a move aimed at ensuring that the upward trend in Epson`s local sales, stays on the rise.
Hans Dummer, general manager at Epson locally explains that a Team Epson Reseller`s status is established according to each reseller`s ability to stock and sell Epson products.
Aimed at regulating Epson`s channel activities aiding the company`s partners, the programme follows a theme of `leadership through team work.` Authorisation is determined by a number of factors, for example the size and scope of the organisation applying, the value of its current Epson business as supplied by its Epson distributors, and most importantly, its commitment to increasing that business.
"First Technology`s core activity is sharing technology-solutions that relate directly to a customer`s specific business," says Sharon Dunne, national sales and marketing manager at First Technology. "We provide our clients with best-of-breed products and partners to fulfill their IT-requirements."
She adds that First Technology`s aim is to act as its customers` technology partner, by designing and implementing solutions. "We rely on business partnerships such as the one we have with Epson, to provide enhanced solutions at the best price. We look forward to a long and profitable association with Epson," she concludes.
"First Technology has demonstrated commitment and contributed to a marked increase in consumable sales," continues Dummer. "First Technology is a well-established company with a strong customer bases, and EPSON is extremely pleased that it has joined Team EPSON. We are confident that EPSON will benefit greatly from having them on board," concludes Dummer.
