EPSON South Africa has reaffirmed its commitment to transformation within its local business model, with the appointment of 21 black-owned and operated partners during the past few months.
Hans Dummer, general manager of EPSON South Africa, says transformation is the key to the future of business. "Through the identification and establishment of these partners, I believe we are demonstrating our commitment to supporting the development of black economic empowerment organisations locally.
"This is the first of many drives by EPSON, which stems from the motivation and information supplied by Advanced Consumerables Technology (ACT) one of our leading partners locally," says Dummer. "Our black empowerment partners have already achieved great success in the market, with promising figures obtained over the last few months. Their commitment to the EPSON product range is commended and I trust we will witness many more successes during 2003."
All 21 of the partners have been recognised as authorised resellers for EPSON South Africa and as such have full access to the Team EPSON programme.
"The Team EPSON authorised reseller programme aims to identify top resellers locally - those companies which play a key role in helping us achieve our business objectives," adds Dummer. As part of the programme all the resellers will have access to a number of benefits including marketing and information packs, participation in corporate events, admission to promotional material, full support, sales benefits like lead generation, dedicated EPSON product training and financial benefits through the product rebate structure.
"2003 promises to be an exciting year for EPSON, and the addition of these partners, we are well positioned to take advantage of market opportunities locally," concludes Dummer.
