Epson's new all-in-one photo printer - all things to all people!

Johannesburg, 15 Nov 2010

If you thought that having an all-in-one inkjet printer that is networkable and produces better-than-lab photo prints was just something big businesses could afford, think again. The Epson Stylus Photo TX720WD is a stylish all-in-one inkjet printer that can be easily shared over a wired or wireless network, and delivers premium prints that exceed lab quality.

The TX720WD has scanning and copying capabilities, plus automatic double-sided printing - proving that sometimes you can have a device that is all things to all people.

Thanks to its large 6.3cm LCD screen and smart-navigation touch-panel, the TX720WD is easy to operate, and allows users to view and edit images directly from memory cards, USB keys and PictBridge-enabled cameras without the need for a PC. Users can also personalise CDs and DVDs by printing directly onto printable discs.

The TX720WD utilises Epson Claria Photographic ink, which delivers high definition prints that resist fading, smudging and moisture to give you prints that will literally last a lifetime. With Epson Claria inks, photos last for up to 98 years in a photo frame or over 200 years in an album.

Users can save with individual inks, as only the colour used needs to be replaced, and further savings result from the TX720WD's ENERGY STAR-qualified power efficiency, so it won't break your pocket when the municipality comes to read your meter.

And it's as fast as it is awesome. You can print 10x15cm photos in approximately 10 seconds (coverage dependant) and documents even faster.

The Epson TX720WD is available from Mustek for a recommended retail price of approximately R2 400.
