Equilibrium releases media solution

Equilibrium has unveiled MediaRich for Office SharePoint Server which allows users to extend an enterprise-wide search, document management and workgroup collaboration environment to create a complete asset content management solution, says Business Wire.

MediaRich is a management tool for digital media that features a scalable, high-volume media distribution and repurposing engine. It enables companies to organise and generate media within Microsoft Office SharePoint Server.

The MediaRich self-service asset management for Office SharePoint Server streamlines media deployment, empowering workers by simplifying complex media generation workflows.

Canon UK has rolled out its Helix Production Workflow and monochrome Imagepress range to commercial print operations, print-for-pay, and corporate reprographics departments, states Graphic Repro.

Helix Production Workflow is designed to streamline the on-demand production printing process, add value to personalised short-run print, integrate print ordering and production, and effectively manage busy print rooms.

Western Digital (WD), an external storage solutions manufacturer, has expanded its My Book family of external hard drives to include a 2TB capacity, the largest available capacity in a single-drive system, reports AME Info.

“As the volume and value of users' digital content grows, backing up data on multiple CDs or DVDs becomes time consuming and inconvenient. At the same time, consumers are realising the monetary and emotional value of content and need to back up their most important files,” says Khwaja Saifuddin, WD sales director for Middle East and Africa.
