ERC, Cybera on software

ERC, a point-of-sale solution provider and other technology solutions, and Cybera, a data security and payment card industry (PCI) solution provider, have partnered to offer ClearPCI solutions to ERC's customers, states Bradenton.

PCI compliance is costly and complex for retail and restaurant businesses. Cybera's ClearPCI One claims it reduces the burden of PCI compliance through a comprehensive package of security hardware and software services.

The ClearPCI One solution is said to allow a merchant to become PCI compliant for one, low annual fee.

ParTech re-brands with software

Executives at ParTech are broadening its product mix from its specialty of kiosk hardware for the hospitality sector into a firm that markets software and other solutions for a mix of retailers, writes Self-service World.

The firm's platform is its ordering and payment hardware for fast food, fast-casual and table-service restaurants.

This is made possible by the Par EverServ 6000 series, including a standard version, a smaller low profile version and a kiosk, along with the less-expensive EverServ 2000.

Retail Data markets DineInsight

Further expanding its channels and reach, MacroSolve, a provider of mobile business solutions, has signed a letter of intent with Retail Data Solutions to license and market its DineInsight mobile restaurant application, reports Market Watch.

Retail Data Solutions deals hardware and software solutions to the retail, restaurant and hospitality industry. The company's clients span from major national retail chains to locally owned businesses.

Michael Kress, Retail Data Solutions CEO, states: "We've been serving the retail and hospitality industry for 20 years. Today we are seeing mobile solutions emerge as an essential solution that will enhance our clients' operations.”
