eScan wins AV-Test Certification yet again for its matchless Android security solution

eScan, one of the leading anti-virus and content security solution providers, has won AV-Test Certification for malware protection in Android mobile security.

The product has been consecutively standing tall on its merits and has again proven to be a certified security solution for mobile devices. eScan has achieved the certification this time around on the basis of demonstrating its capabilities using all components and protection layers. The malware detection was conducted on the factors pertaining to usability, performance and false positives.

The eScan security solution for Android comes with a unique anti-theft feature, which allows the user to locate, lock or wipe the device when it is lost or stolen. The security solution further enables filtering of messages and mails for unwanted content to ensure safety from malicious content.

The solution outperformed competing products by not impacting battery life, not slowing down the device during normal usage, and by not consuming Internet bandwidth.
