Eskom has signed a R1 billion outsourcing deal with arivia.kom, to address Eskom`s IT requirements to the end of 2005.
Arivia.kom provides Eskom with a full outsource solution from infrastructure and application support that includes mainframe, midrange, network, help desk and distributed computing environments, as well as business solutions.
"Our relationship with arivia.kom is business-driven and focused on business transformation," says Dr Steve Lennon, Eskom MD of the Resources and Strategy Group. "Both organisations are commercially-driven and the agreement holds financial benefits for both parties."
