Rudi Kr"uger, chairman of Espi'al Consulting and South Africa`s "Thought Leader" on the New Economy said, "The business models driving the New Economy are so different to those of the Old Economy that we deemed it necessary to create a platform from where we can help the viewer define, investigate and discover the driving principles and characteristics of the New Economy"
Paula Sartini, Executive Director of Espi'al Consulting will co-present the show providing expert analysis, interpretation and commentary.
The show will, over the next 52 weeks, discuss two topics each week such as "Free Pricing" and "Disintermediation of Industries" which we are witnessing in the music, publishing, travel and stock broking industries, to mention a few.
Anchoring the TV program, Espi'al Consulting will also on the same date launch a web portal - myNEWeconomy.com that will aggregate and consolidate global opinion and research on the New Economy. This one-stop portal will provide the visitor with comprehensive cover on the New Economy as it unfolds globally.
"myNEWeconomy.com will further provide the `New Economy Worker` the information he/she will need to leverage the exponential power of the New Economy," says Kr"uger.
The portal will aggregate New Economy news and articles from leading international and local magazines, newspapers, on-line news services and international research centres such as: Fast Company, The Industry Standard, Red Herring, TheStreet.co.uk, Reuters as well as local sources including Financial Mail, Business Day, Intelligence Magazine, JSE, Investor Centre and ITWeb.
myNEWeconomy is the only portal aimed at the B2NEW (Business to New Economy Worker) category, and also the first in the world to be supported by a dedicated TV programme.
