Espi'al Consulting has announced that it has bought itself out of the JSE-listed Acuity Group with immediate effect.
Rudi Kr"uger, chairman of Espi'al Consulting, stated that the transaction was concluded amicably and that Espi'al Consulting will continue to work closely with the Acuity Group in the future.
Espi'al Consulting is the local affiliate of the Silicon Valley-based Chasm Group headed by Dr Geoffrey Moore, the well-known author of best-sellers Crossing the Chasm, Inside the Tornado and the Gorilla Game.
Espi'al Consulting has, over the past months, attained thought leadership with regards to advising clients on the impact of the New Economy on their traditional business models.
"Espi'al Consulting will, in future, concentrate on high-technology, media and financial services consulting as well as the marketing of Analytix - our internationally acclaimed strategic planning software package," says Kr"uger.
He also stated that Espi'al Consulting would be announcing two major media and Internet investment initiatives on 3 April.
