Estate agents using E-Properties will benefit by being able to issue transfer instructions to attorneys electronically utilising L@W functionality imbedded in E-Properties. They will also be able to track the progress of transfers and registrations seamlessly.
This new service is provided to the estate agent for no additional charge.
Attorneys subscribing to L@W will benefit as they will receive instructions through the L@W system in the same fashion as they are currently receiving bond instructions from the banks.
WIZARD, the largest independent mortgage originator in SA, will have access to this service as it will be included in the WAPIT (Wizard Application Processing) system currently used by the more than 30 franchises country-wide servicing thousands of clients. The franchise will now be able to electronically issue instructions and track registration progress.
"Needless to say this service will benefit the home buyer and seller the most as the instruction to proceed with the transfer of the property will now form part of the purchase process. Secondly, the estate agent and mortgage originator render an invaluable service to the buyer or seller as now they will be kept in the loop as to the progress of bond registration and property transfer," says Greg Brill, Sales Director at Octagon.
"Octagon is very excited to include this feature into E-Properties through integration and co-operation with a company like L@W who are leaders in their field," says Brill.
