Johannesburg-based ETA Audiovisual has released the new Optoma EzPro projector series exclusively to its dealers. EzPro projectors are lightweight, combining optics and light source into a self-contained presentation solution. Optoma was formerly known as CTX Opto.

"Optoma has earned a solid reputation for delivering cutting-edge LCD-related products and the company is the first to develop a projector weighing less than 4kg," says Mike Hattingh, MD of ETA Audiovisual. "We will add value to our dealer by not selling this range directly to end-users. We will also offer them an exclusive 24-month warranty on all parts and spares.

"Today`s mobile professional requires only a notebook computer and a projector to present high-impact, graphic-intensive presentations. The EzPro family of lightweight projectors combine optics and light source into a complete, self-contained presentation solution," he adds.

"Designed for portability and excellent performance, these LCD projectors are the total solution for mobile presentation needs. The ultra compact EzPro 585 offers several advanced features unique in its 4.5kg weight class. It is a single panel LCD projector with features like 500 ANSI lumens of brightness, true 800 x 600 resolution with XGA compression, built-in stereo speakers and an amplifier with a segment-exclusive keystone correction capability.

"With its lightweight, high brightness rating and extensive list of features, the EzPro 585 is perfect for multiple-projector offices, training sessions and educational institutions," says Hattingh.
